In the top route, "form-spec" represents either a numeric or string format specification. G, GL, GU, GZ, L, N, and NZ are all valid in this position for numeric fields; C, CC, CR, CL, CU, G, GL, GU, GZ, V, VL and VU are all valid in this position for string fields. The specification must be followed by a space.
